Will Taylor Jazz - An Austin Jazz Band

The original Will Taylor ensemble was a jazz group.  Booking the jazz combo is a great way to hear these virtuosos really stretch out. They cut their teeth on jazz, which is to say it was a very demanding training ground for every other genre of music that Strings Attached plays.  The jazz combo can be a subtle trio,  or on up to a six-piece band, depending on what’s right for your event.   The repertoire includes classic standards from 20’s, 30’s and 40’s (Sinatra, Cole Porter, Gershwin), big band tunes, and selections from later jazz, like Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock and Pat Metheny.   For an extra splash of elegance and light, add a vocalist.
