Ouida Zaporta
Ouida Zaporta is a graduate student at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing a DMA in music performance with a concentration in euphonium. Ms. Zaporta also earned her Masters at the University of Texas at Austin in music performance.

 She is an alumnus of Tennessee State University where she earned her bachelors and majored in music. Performance wise during her undergraduate career she was featured twice as a solo performer with the wind ensemble and was a part of the tuba/euphonium quartet and ensemble. She was a member of the TSU Aristocrat of Bands for five years, holding a leadership position for four consecutive years. 

Today Ouida continues to perform at UT Austin in the Tuba Euphonium ensemble and quartet. As an educator, Ms. Zaporta is a former adjunct professor of tuba and euphonium at Texas A&M University at Kingsville. She continues to strive for the best in her musical endeavors as both performer and educator.
